Don Armes is a well-known auctioneer throughout the great state of Oklahoma. He is also the owner of Armes Auction Service with over 35 years of experience. In 1985, Don attended Auctioneer school in Bryan, Texas. He studied under the legendary auctioneer, Walter Britton. Don conducts real estate, farm equipment, antique and business liquidation auctions, and storage auctions. He also services numerous benefit auctions for various groups like The American Heart Association, The Diamond Hats and The Starlight Foundation. In 1998, the Lawton Constitution readers voted Don as their Favorite Auctioneer. He also proudly volunteers to help raise funds at the Cowboy Hall of Fame inductions. It is his desire that strong, influential citizens are showcased and remembered for their work, honor, and heroisms.
